It’s the same here in America too. I recently saw that sacred Native American land will be plundered for copper because the Indigenous people lost their court case. Sacred burial ground!! All in the name of profits, greed, consumption. And that’s just one example under this administration…. Don’t get me started on the National Parks Service!!!

It is so baffling and so depressing. And “roller coaster ride” absolutely! that’s what it feels like. The wild camping news has been the only glimmer of good news concerning nature recently.

If Labour do make this cut permanent the effects on the countryside will be incredibly severe.

Neither left nor right care about the environment or the farmers. All they care about is the magic number of GDP that will show on an excel spreadsheet. If they are up this will get them reelected by the folks in the city, maybe. They don't have need for natural beauty, simple life or any knowledge of the joy of growing once food.
