If every person worldwide accepted that limitation is a natural, inherent human condition, there would be no Bezoses, Musks, Trumps, Putins; no Thiels blabbering about immortality, no Zucks obsessed with controlling people's lives.

Perhaps there would be no wars.

Paradoxically, it could turn out, that however limited, the human race has more power and resources to wisely adapt to the changing conditions of living on Earth.

But the wisdom to accept limits is not innate. It is hard to learn, and not everybody learns it ever. Hence, we must spread this truth about the human nature, and show, that abiding by natural limits, we can live better lives.

In a Belgian study “a geological profile comprising a limestone substrate overlain by a clay-rich interval, which represents a common sequence, was studied with the objective of determining the relationship between substrate and cover. The profile was characterized by various types of mineralogical and chemical analyses, and by a micromorphological study. The mineralogical and chemical data demonstrate that the cover is unrelated to the parent rock, including all horizons below the loess-derived Ap horizon”

I have also seen this aspect here in Dorset, of Clay Caps which need liming to neutralise the pH and to deflocculate the clay particles…

Thank you Hadden, you’re always thought provoking.

Great article. One of the greatest problems facing this country is that vast areas of farmland are locked up as investments. I would definitely recommend this article on Tom Swift for further information.
